I’m very happy to announce a show of my paintings at the Lobby Gallery of 1133 Sixth Avenue in Manhattan. Please join me for the reception on April 30th. If you can’t make the reception visitors are welcome during regular business hours but you need to register with the curator Janusz Jaworski at janusz@chashama.org to view the show.
Michael Sorgatz’s paintings of figures in urban landscapes depict the constant evolution of the city. Moment by moment, the people of the city spontaneously create the experience of city life for each other. Like a river that can never be stepped in twice, so too is a walk along the streets.
