trumpocalypse-ad-1a

According to the Urban Dictionary, the definition of Trumpocalypse is “The catastrophic destruction or damage of civilization following the election of Donald Trump as president of the United States of America.” To many Americans, they wondered how a presidency under Mr. Donald J Trump would be. And to many, they joked about the ill-tempered businessman and never thought it would be possible. Now that the impossible has happened, we are left to wonder, “What now?”

We invite artists of all two dimensional mediums to submit work for this juried group show that either is a reflection, or reaction, to the 2016 election, or a forecast of what is to come with this upcoming administration, aligned with the theme “Trumpocalypse: What Now?”

The reception will occur on January 20, 2017 for one day only at Sacred Gallery. This will be an exhibition that will send a message to Washington D.C. that our voices will be heard, ready to stand for our rights. And WE WANT YOU to be part of this special event.

Submission deadline for this show is January 6, 2017. Accepted applications, or winning, artists will be announced on January 9, 2017.

Sacred Gallery is located at 424 Broadway (2nd floor) in New York City. The gallery has hosted many group and solo exhibitions, and has displayed artists including Vincent Castiglia, D Randall Blythe, Jordu Schell, Shepard Fairey, Marshall Arisman, Cam Rackam, and many more.
