Day de Dada is organizing a “fashion show” performance event featuring costumes and wearable art on Sunday, Oct 29, 2018 at the Westbeth Community Room in the West Village, New York City. The performances will be from 6:00-8:00 pm.
We are looking for interactive, costume-based performances from 5 – 8 minutes long. You can perform in a costume, have the audience interact with you in the costume, or simply strut your stuff as a model. Or any other ideas you have! There will be a sound system available, but please keep tech down to a minimum. There will be limited time for set up between performers.
Please send a description of what you would like to do, and performance length. Photos or links to youtube/vimeo welcome. Submission does not guarantee acceptance. Final lineup will be chosen based on originality, length of performance, and adherence to the costume theme. All submissions will be reviewed and responded to by October 6.
