Maknojia and Cadiz discuss their art marking process and how each of their current series, Creatures in My Garden and American Family Portrait respectively, explore the complexities of constructing “home” under social, cultural, economic or geographical constraints. Their work examines the many complicated layers and the societal and historical influences that inform the very structures we live by and within.
