The Garment District Alliance announced the latest of its public art exhibits, showcasing 30 hand-built, folk-art inspired ceramic pieces representing the intricate interplay and personalities of the avian world. Created by artist Laurie Carretta Scupp, the installation is titled “Endlings: The first, and last, of their kind”. Located in a street-level window at 215 West 38th Street, the free exhibit is accessible to the public through June 28th. Endlings is part of the Garment District Space for Public Art program, which showcases artists in unusual locations.
