“Day de Dada Conspirators” is an exploration of how the Dada art movement is relevant and inspirational to contemporary artists. Each performer will do a performance piece inspired by a Dada artist from the early 20th century. Performances will include readings / dance / movement / spoken word and some ongoing interactive actions.
Performance 10-15 minutes long or non-obtrusive durational pieces during the whole event.
This is an outdoors venue and the event will take place rain or shine. The performances will take place throughout the garden.
Keep in mind that there is no stage, dressing room, or place to plug in. You must bring everything you need with you.
Please email a short description of your performance idea and the Dada artist that has inspired your piece. Include your name, email, and phone number. Proposal is due by July 15, 2019.
