Come and see artist Bernhard Hildebrandt’s latest exhibit, “On the Lagoon: Venice Recalled,” where he explores the relationship between painting and photography, abstraction and narrative, and the nature of vision and technology.

Based on Venetian late Renaissance and Baroque paintings and engravings, and inspired by the movement inherent in Baroque art, On the Lagoon is a ‘motion studies’ display that examines the collaboration between light, perception of time, memory and interior space.

The exhibit opens with a reception from 6-8pm on Thursday, February 20, and runs through Friday, March 27.
