Our community art studio, located in Greenpoint, is currently closed to the public due to the coronavirus outbreak. This has left our large front windows, which usually contain information about upcoming programs and classes, empty. We are seeking a local Black or POC artist or artists to create a mural or other public art installation in the space, inspired by and in support of the Black Lives Matter movement and as a call to our community for racial and social justice. Selected artist(s) will receive a $500 stipend. Please submit your proposal by August 17, 2020 to be considered for a September installation.
