Gone to Fair, Zach Bruder’s Second Solo Exhibition at Magenta Plains

Magenta Plains is proud to present Gone To Fair, Zach Bruder’s second solo exhibition of paintings, opening September 16, 2020.

Each of the paintings on view explore confrontations with past, as a means to interpret the ever- changing present. Bruder captures images on canvas which seem to float in the collective unconscious. Visually and compositionally harmonious, his paintings conflate divergent pictorial influences from advertisements, caricatures, cartoons, photos, and paintings from his extensive historical archive.
