The Sacred Places : Los Lugares Sagrados is an exhibition of mixed media work featuring pieces from seven artists who translate their encounters in the realm of within using their diverse creative approaches. This virtual gallery show offers an emotive exploration of the way we all process the world through the lens of our own unique experiences. Here we see despair, joy, rage, transformation and sexuality come together in an unexpectedly cohesive presentation of work using modalities including photography, collage and graphite by artists : Johnny Mattei, Alejandro Cerdena, Robert Nieves, Amy Maeven Pace, Olde Monk, Silvia Soriano and Savage Sacrament.
Savage Sacrament is a creative collaboration between Johnny Mattei and Amy Maeven Pace. The most recent addition to their venture is an experiment in the virtual via this gallery, born of necessity and fueled by an unquelled desire to share these voices of creation which seem more relevant now than ever. This show has been curated by Johnny Mattei.
