Salon 94 is proud to debut Robert Pruitt’s first solo exhibition, Ad Infinitum, at Salon 94 Freemans (1 Freeman Alley) opening December 10. Appointments are required.

Robert Pruitt’s works are alive, joyous and often speculative, pulling from Black American life, history, science fiction, music, comic books, film, the natural world, and more. These smaller drawings are streams of his own consciousness allowing him to work out ideas for future drawings, play with a range of references and influences. His work is defined by an uncanny meeting between the mundane and the spiritual, the familiar and the ancestral. When viewed side by side, Pruitt’s work opens a universe of affirmation of Blackness, of nerdiness and of life itself.
