Australian composer and alto saxophone player Jonathon Crompton’s major new work makes its world premiere on September 9 at 7:30PM at The DiMenna Center for Classical Music. The 30-minute work for two sopranos, string quartet, alto saxophone, and electric guitar is Crompton’s most ambitious chamber work to date and melds together jazz and classical Renaissance compositional practices.
