Groff’s latest solo exhibition, Flipped, delves into uncharted territories of imagination and abstraction,
a departure from his three-decade engagement with direct painting from nature. This recent work
presents a world where the rules of perspective are upended, the boundaries of style are reimagined,
and the familiar gives way to the unexpected. Groff resists singular interpretations of the work and
offers several pathways to visual poetics, inviting viewers to construct their meaning. In a world of
turmoil, his art aims to be a visual sanctuary of solace and wonder.
