Poster House, the first museum in the United States dedicated to the global history of posters, will host a “Poster Kids” event on January 28, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Poster House, 119 West 23rd Street in Manhattan. Poster House will be offering free admission for guests to attend this family-friendly programming and explore the museum’s latest exhibitions.

Poster Kids will explore planes, trains, ships and cars in the posters of the museum’s current exhibition, Art Deco: Commercializing the Avant-Garde. After an interactive, walk-through exhibit tour, participants will create mixed-media artworks inspired by their tour experience. This program is designed for children ages 5–11 and their adult chaperones to collaborate. Older siblings are welcome to attend as well. All attendees must have an adult present throughout the entire program.

Free tickets can be reserved online in advance of January 28. During normal hours, tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students, veterans, and seniors. Poster House offers free museum admission through the New York City’s public library Culture Pass system.
