daeuArt Gallery is pleased to participate in Art Expo New York 2024 taking place at Pier 36, April 4-7. The gallery’s booth (#S604) will feature captivating and intellectually stimulating pieces by Daeu Angert, including original oil paintings and limited edition prints. In addition to its exhibition, daeuArt Gallery will host special events and artist meet-and-greets throughout the duration of the fair, offering attendees a chance to connect directly with the artist, gain insights into her artistic process, and potentially acquire exceptional artwork.

Highlighted in their booth is Angert’s original oil painting, “Multipotentialite,” showcasing her distinctive visual style honed over decades. Originally part of Angert’s Diary Collection and featured in her solo exhibit, While Waiting For The World to Catch Up, in New York last year, “Multipotentialite” delves into the personal journey of being a multipotentialite. With its bold colors and determined strokes, the painting encapsulates the human struggle for identity and purpose in a world that favors singular paths. Angert’s mastery of oil painting is evident in this artwork’s rich texture and depth, inviting viewers to reflect on their own aspirations. Its inclusion in the gallery’s showcase at the Art Expo is expected to captivate audiences, igniting conversations about creativity, ambition, and societal expectations.

The gallery will also release a number of limited edition, signed fine art prints based on Angert’s original oil paintings to coincide with the fair in a variety of mediums and sizes. These will include Angert’s Indra’s Net, The Breath, La Paloma, Wrinkle In A Dream Sequence, Formless, and The Lost Artist.

A portion of the gallery proceeds support the daeuArt Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to fostering creativity by backing visual arts and music programs for children in underserved communities in the United States and abroad.
