Poster House, the first museum in the United States dedicated to the global history of posters, is hosting an all-day walking tour of NYC on Saturday, August 10 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The tour will end in Battery Park and tickets are $75.

The tour, inspired by the acclaimed exhibition Wonder City of the World: New York City Travel Posters and lead by author, historian, and architectural designer Tom Rinaldi, will trace Manhattan’s spine from the island’s northern end down to Battery Park. With brief pauses to admire points of cultural, historical, and architectural interest participants will be able to view the old movie houses and pre-war apartment buildings of Harlem and the Upper West Side, the office towers and marquees of the theater district and the canyon-like streets of lower Manhattan.

Audio devices will be provided, and the ticket price includes a meal at the iconic New York City institution Grey’s Papaya.
