The Untitled Space invites artists to apply for a Solo Exhibition to take place at the gallery in Tribeca, New York in 2025. The selected artist will be awarded a solo exhibition that will be presented as an in-person solo show at the gallery on Lispenard Street located in the Tribeca Arts District of New York City.

The solo exhibition will be supported by an online exclusive of the exhibition on Artsy, as well as special coverage of the exhibition on a variety of media outlets including The Untitled Magazine, Art Forum, Art Week, and Widewalls, among many other publications. The exhibition will be promoted online on the gallery’s websites, social media channels, and on a variety of publishing platforms. Have your artwork seen by collectors, press, art advisors, and art lovers around the world. The opportunity includes an Artsy Exclusive Online Solo Show for the runner-up.

The Untitled Space is looking for an artist with an exceptional body of work for this unique opportunity. Artists who submit may also be considered for future opportunities with The Untitled Space gallery including group shows, international art fairs, and special projects.

Artists should have an established exhibition track record and/or educational focus in studio art. The exhibit proposal should include new work to premiere with the exhibition. All proposals must include an artist biography, cv, artist statement, images for each submitted artwork as well as any other relevant information.

Submissions are open to all artists, both national and international.
All ages, genders, and visual mediums will be considered.

EXHIBITION DATES: 2025

The Untitled Space will coordinate with the artist for the best timing of their exhibition in 2025. The gallery will host a reception for the artist, as well as post the exhibition on Artsy as well as other sites to promote the artwork. Expenses including the opening reception, exhibition marketing, staffing, as well as the gallery venue will be provided by The Untitled Space at no cost to the artist. All details will be finalized directly with the artist to ensure the best possible experience for the gallery and artist to have a successful exhibition. A number of virtual activations will also be implemented to promote the exhibition.

The gallery space available for the exhibition includes approximately 1400 sq ft including more than 110ft of linear wall space for hanging artwork, and a number of accessories including state-of-the-art LED motorized track lighting, pedestals, projectors, and monitors for digital display.

The Untitled Space is an art gallery located in Tribeca, New York in a landmark building on Lispenard Street. Founded in 2015 by Indira Cesarine, the gallery features an ongoing curation of exhibits of emerging and established contemporary artists exploring conceptual framework and boundary-pushing ideology through mediums of painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, video, and performance art. The gallery is committing to exploring new ideas vis-à-vis traditional and new mediums and highlights a program of women in art.

Since launching The Untitled Space has presented over 50 exhibitions by more than 500 artists. Robinson Jr., Tabitha Whitley, Tom Smith, Loren Erdrich, Kat Toronto aka Miss Meatface, Katie Commodore, Giulia Grillo aka Petite Doll, Jeanette Hayes, Grace Graupe-Pillard and Robin Tewes, as well as group shows “REBEL,” “INNOVATE,” “UNRAVELED: Confronting The Fabric of Fiber Art,” “BODY BEAUTIFUL,” “IRL: Investigating Reality,” ”SECRET GARDEN,” “SHE INSPIRES,” public art exhibitions “FUTURE VISION,” and “Art4Equality x Life, Liberty & The Pursuit of Happiness” in collaboration with Save Art Space; Special Projects “EDEN” and “(HOTEL) XX” at SPRING/BREAK Art Show; and internationally-celebrated group shows “UPRISE/ANGRY WOMEN” and “ONE YEAR OF RESISTANCE,” as well as numerous other critically-acclaimed exhibitions.
