Crocheted Grapefruit
June 19-21, 2011, from 2-5 pm each day, the infamous crochet-hook wielding artist Olek (NY Times, NY Mag, Wikipedia) will unleash peaceful, crochet-clad performers onto the streets of NYC at a different iconic site each day. This participatory action, inspired by one of Yoko Ono’s “Instructions” in Grapefruit, will engage passersby and turn them into enthusiastic, if unlikely, collaborators.

Painting To Shake Hands
Drill a hole in a canvas and put your
Hand out from behind
Receive your guests in that position.
Shake hands and converse with hands.
