The Untitled Space Opens The “DREAM” Exhibition, a 50-Artist Group Show Curated by Indira Cesarine, in Tribeca Through October 3
The Untitled Space presents The “DREAM” Exhibition, a group show curated by artist and gallery founder Indira Cesarine in collaboration with The Untitled Magazine. On view September 21 through October 3, 2026, at 45 Lispenard Street in Tribeca, the exhibition brings together more than 50 contemporary artists working across painting, photography, sculpture, collage, video, and installation. An opening reception takes place Friday, September 25, with a VIP and press preview from 5 to 6 PM followed by a public reception from 6 to 9 PM, and an after-party with special performances to follow.
The exhibition approaches dreaming as both a psychological terrain and a creative force — not as escape, but as a means of reinterpreting and transforming reality. Works traverse submerged bodies, fragmented identities, celestial landscapes, hidden gardens, hybrid beings, and portals into unfamiliar worlds, moving between the intimate and the cosmic. Among the highlighted artists: Reka Nyari presents monumental portraits from her series Immortal Ink, reimagining tattooed women as goddesses; Reisha Perlmutter renders luminous figures suspended beneath shifting water surfaces; Airco Caravan pairs candy-colored consumer product aesthetics with sharp social commentary; and Carolina Pavia constructs surrealist psychological worlds in which women merge with flowers, insects, and animals. Some works originate in literal dreams; others emerge from intuition, meditation, or the determination to envision a world that does not yet exist.
The Untitled Space was founded in Tribeca by artist and creative director Indira Cesarine, whose interdisciplinary practice spans painting, photography, video, and installation. The gallery is known for socially engaged group exhibitions developed in collaboration with The Untitled Magazine, including prior editions The Art of Resistance, Innovate, and Rebel. The “DREAM” Exhibition is accompanied by The Dream Issue, a special collector’s print edition of The Untitled Magazine, available in softcover and as a limited-edition hardcover. Cesarine notes: “As an artist and creative, I have always been inspired by both the subconscious world of dreams and the visions that compel us to create, transform, and reach beyond our reality. Looking back, I feel I may have been manifesting this exhibition for years.”
At a moment when reality can feel unstable and imagination a political act, The “DREAM” Exhibition arrives as a timely argument for the subconscious as one of the most urgent creative languages available to artists today.
